The Kiss

One of my favorite moments in every wedding we design and produce is the kiss.

It’s such a beautiful glimpse into each couple’s unique spirit and love story. Here are a few of my favorites—each one full of personality, emotion, and joy.

What could be more wonderful?

Bride and Groom take their first kiss at a themed wedding at the Warner Bros. back lot, complete with classic theater marquis and Holly-style red carpet.
Bride and Groom take their first married kiss at a Golden Hour ceremony at a classic Spanish villa, surrounded by happy friends and family and they stand on a carpet of flower petals.
Newly married couple taking their first kiss under a classical High Gothic arch, surrounded by sparkly lights and decorative foliage.

Make sure that your photographer knows the sequence of your ceremony, so they are ready to capture the kiss.

It might seem obvious, but I have found that every ceremony is crafted a little differently—so it’s a smart checklist item to confirm, especially if your photographer doesn’t ask in advance.

Of course, there are those special shots taken afterward that re-create this moment in all sorts of fabulous ways. But to me, the first kiss after “I do”!

That is the kiss.

Newly married couple take their first kiss under a romantic, moon-themed, custom decorative element at a warm, vintage-themed wedding ceremony.
Bride and Groom taking their first married kiss at their wedding at the Natural History Museum, surrounded by giant dinosaur fossils and classical architecture.
